Using TinySift
You can download TinySift and use it free for 14 days, without a card. After that, Agents, the 1-hour and 6-hour charts, Clean and Uninstall need a license: a one-time purchase, sold by Polar as our reseller and merchant of record. CPU, RAM and disk readings, scans and review stay free. There is no account.
TinySift changes nothing until you confirm, and it reports what happened to each item. Read the list before you confirm, and keep a backup of anything you cannot replace, for example with Time Machine.
No warranty
TinySift is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. As far as the law allows, the TinySift project is not liable for lost data or any other damage that comes from using it.
Open source and the name
The engine and the tiny command-line tool are open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0, which governs their use. That license covers the code, not the TinySift name or logo; the trademark policy explains how a fork should name itself.
Lifetime
Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, sold by Polar as merchant of record. A license key activates on the number of Macs in the pack you bought, one seat per Mac. Updates are free for as long as you own it. CPU, RAM and disk readings, scans and review stay free without a license; Agents, the 1-hour and 6-hour charts, Clean and Uninstall need the trial or a license.
